The Happenings so far ....

Hanna Hazare and his Civil Society took up the fight against corruption at the right moment. People in general, whether super rich, middle class or poor were directly or indirectly being affected by the menace of corruption in all walks of life. Added to this, bunch of scams started peeping out one by one. But, the ruling UPA failed miserably to go along with him which may definitely reflect adversely in the next polls. In politics lessons have to be learned to avoid its recurrence whether it be a small or big one. (The pathetic condition of Kerala Roads just before the Panchayat Elections cost the ruling LDF very badly and Roads just like corruption was effecting the entire mass – rich, middle and poor class). It was all going on smoothly, receiving him at the airport, forming the Committee for drafting etc. etc. but suddenly from among the decision makers one or a group of persons influenced in whatever ways, to change the tactics, cleverly pointing out that once we accede to the Civil Society, others may join in the band wagon etc. and also pointed out the supremacy of Parliament in Law making, conveniently forgetting that the Civil Society is making only a draft and ultimately it has to be passed in the Parliament with or without modifications  by MPs only and the credit will be of UPA and once it is in place, people will slowly forget the episode of the numerous scams plaguing the Govt. , and the result is visible now. Here is where the inquisitive from the well wishers and supporters of UPA should investigate and probe – who and what was their aim, whether a tactical mistake or intentional with or without outside influence.
